In uscita il prossimo 9 settembre 2016 "Acoustic Recordings 1998-2016", titolo del nuovo album-compilation che raccoglie versioni inedite, mix e alt-take di brani di White Stripes e Raconteurs, oltre a materiale solista dello stesso White registrato in versione acustica e rimasterizzata (da Andrew Mendelson ai Georgetown Masters Studios di Nashville, Tennessee) prediligendo il taglio cantautorale del musicista statunitense. Il disco include in totale 26 canzoni, incluso l’inedito "City Lights", registrato quest’anno ma scritto da J.White per l’album del 2005 "Get Behind Me Satan". In vendita l’edizione esclusiva in un doppio vinile 180 grammi gatefold con all’interno un coupon per scaricare l’intero album in formato digitale (MP3).
